No Ape November: enrollment is open. You said you’d stop last month.

COPECenter for Overleveraged Portfolio Emergencies

Privacy

We keep as little as we can.

Plain language: what COPE stores, why, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

  • Your registered wallet address, to run the challenge.
  • An optional nickname and your leaderboard and badge choices.
  • Your agreement to a specific rules version, so we know which rules apply to you.
  • Public transactions on your registered wallet during the campaign, with our classification of each, to evaluate checkpoints.
  • Reviews and appeals about your wallet, including what you write in an appeal.
  • Contributions: the transaction, amount, and any recognition name you choose.
  • Stories and contact messages you submit, with your consent choices.

What we never collect

Your email (unless you put one in a contact form), real name, phone number, location, medical history, seed phrase or private keys. We never ask for token approvals.

What is public anyway

Wallet activity on Solana is public. Anyone can see your wallet’s transactions on a block explorer. Taking part in No Ape November is therefore not anonymous or untraceable, and we never describe it that way.

What we show

  • Your detailed activity, reviews and results are shown only to you and to reviewers.
  • The leaderboard shows a nickname and checkpoints passed, only if you opt in.
  • Payouts are listed publicly with their transaction links, by nickname if you opted in to the leaderboard, otherwise as a participant number.
  • Stories are published only with your separate permission, after moderation.

Stays in your browser

The intake questionnaire, admission card, Refer a Degen cards, the Chart Separation timer and Relapse Reporting run entirely in your browser. We never receive what you type there.

Cookies

One essential cookie keeps you signed in after you sign a message with your wallet. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

  • Change your nickname, leaderboard and badge settings in the COPE Portal at any time.
  • Remove a story immediately with your removal code on How We Cope.
  • Ask us to delete your participant record through the Contact page. Records needed to account for payouts already made are kept for the public ledger.
